ジョン・レノンしのびファン集う ニューヨーク
ジョン・レノンの２６回目の命日の８日、ニューヨークのセントラルパークにレノンにちなんでもうけられた一角「ストロベリー・フィールズ」には、多くのファンが世界各地から訪れた。
この冬一番の０度以下の寒さの中、「ＩＭＡＧＩＮＥ」と書かれたモザイクの碑の周りに、ギターに合わせてレノンの曲を歌った。
道を挟んだ高級アパート、ダコタハウスの入り口で８０年にレノンは撃たれ、死亡した。
未だに世界に影響を与えているジョン。彼が殺された時、大学生だった管理人は学生芝居をやっていて、ジョンをしのぶ台詞を入れてもらった。
世界平和の象徴でもあるジョン。
